Quernmore Valley is located on the old Roman road from Lancaster to the Trough of Bowland, which is an Area of Natural Outstanding Beauty, and is a short drive away from the historic city of Lancaster.


The cottages, which can sleep up to 11 people (5 +6), are ideally located for access to The Lake District, North Yorkshire Moors, Forest of Bowland, North Lancashire and Lancaster University / University of Cumbria. This is a truly rural retreat, but within easy reach of Lancaster (approx 3 miles) and local amenities. Access to the M6 is convenient for junction 33 & 34 and Lancaster University is only 8 minutes away by the scenic route.


Explore the local markets in Lancaster, Garstang and Clitheroe, visit near by fine food establishments serving local ales and home cooked food or just simply enjoy the undisturbed surrounding countryside.
